In this virtual meditation retreat day, we will explore the profound transition from spiritual attainment to spiritual realization. We will be able to sit for longer and longer periods of time remaining effortlessly attentive to the sense that nothing is wrong.
In this day of practice, you will discover that this is as far as your own effort can take you, but it is not as far as you can go. If you spend time sitting in peaceful meditation eventually your awareness will slip into a profound recognition of your True Self. At that point you will see that the easy, open awareness you are experiencing is all that you are. You are not a thing that has awareness, you are the awareness and always have been. At this point you will no longer be able to make a distinction between practicing and not practicing, and it will feel like you are in a constant state of meditation.
